POTA-Parks On The Air

POTA is a fun way to gain comfort and skills using your radio. Its also a fun way to train and test your equipment so you are prepared if a disaster occurs and Amateur Radio is required for backup communication when normal communications fail. Check it out at pota.app. Go to top left and click the 3 marks, a dropdown menu will appear. If you decide you want to activate a site, from the park list under the dropdown menu, then register and set up a password. You will notice under the menu  + add spot and + add activation was added, not listed when in view mode, click on the + add spot and you can add activation spot, click on + add activation and activate a site from the park list under the menu, read the rules under the menu, watch the introduction video and "have fun"
